Song Fight

It is an online songwriting competition and supportive community of like-minded songwritery musician-type folk. It works like this: A made-up song title is posted by Song Fight, and anyone who wants to is invited to write and record a new song with that title and submit it by the deadline, which is usually a week or so. All the entries are then posted and the public at large is able to vote on their favorites. A winner is crowned. There is no money, membership or prizes involved. It's terrific fun.

Jim wrote songs for Song Fight for a number of years. Won a handful of times. Many of his songs have made it onto his two albums in new and improved versions. Here are some others.
