Comedies is the working title for Jim ‘s newest album, a collection of all new piano duets. Not just any duets either.

“Fifth” is a bar-for-bar adaptation of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony - all four movements. The first movement has already been featured via postcard in the Jim-of-Seattle-of-the-Month Club. Now hear the complete symphony!

“Revolution at Nine” is a 3-movement work in the vein of Fats Waller, chronicling the story of a wild all-night party in a mythical Harlem-like apartment. (And if that weren’t enough, all the themes in the piece were derived from the Beatles’ avant-garde masterpiece “Revolution #9”.)
